What shuttle service is from lax to the Disneyland hotel? I have a vacation booked in October!

Hi there Cynthia, and welcome to planDisney! It's almost time to assemble your crew for your fall getaway, and I'd be happy to help you finalize your travel details.

Since I don't reside in the Golden State, and I'm not one of Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors, I arrive for my Disneyland Resort adventures by plane at either Los Angeles International Airport or John Wayne Airport. While there is no official Disney shuttle service between the airport and the Disneyland Hotel, you have several ground transportation options that will get you to your destination, so you'll be sipping an Uh-Oa! as soon as possible.

If you are generally comfortable using rideshare services, then something like Uber or Lyft would be an efficient way to get from Los Angeles International Airport to the Disneyland Resort area. I have used both services in Southern California, but understand that not everyone feels safe riding in someone else's personal vehicle. If you prefer, shuttle services and limo companies abound, and you can arrange these rides in advance. The Disneyland Resort website mentions Karmel Shuttle, a service that operates a varied fleet of vehicles and provides transportation to the resort area.

I hope this is helpful, Cynthia! Before you know it, it'll be time to explore a galaxy far, far away, pay a visit to your favorite superheroes, and stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. Best wishes for a memorable vacation, and have a magical day!
