are there shuttle that offer rides to the theme parks from a Disneyland resort??

To all who come to planDisney, welcome. Ed, it sounds like you're gearing up for a visit to the Disneyland Resort. Let's talk about some different ways that you can get from your room to the theme parks.

I love to hear that you will be staying in the Disney bubble at a Disneyland Resort hotel. While there unfortunately are no shuttles from the hotels to the theme parks, there are many ways to get to the magic. All three hotels are conveniently close to the theme parks and it should take about 10-15 minutes to walk to the entrance. If you're staying at the Disneyland Hotel or Pixar Place Hotel, you can glide into Tomorrowland by way of the Disneyland Monorail from the station located in Downtown Disney District. If you're staying at Disney's Grand California Hotel & Spa, there's an entrance directly into Disney California Adventure Park from the hotel.

If walking longer distances can be a challenge, you might consider renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) for your visit. These can be rented for the duration of your stay from a local private mobility rental company, ScooterBug. We used this service during a recent visit with my aunt and they conveniently dropped off the ECV at the hotel. You could also rent an ECV just for the day from Disneyland, just outside of the main entrance gate. Keep in mind that these are daily rentals and available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be returned at the end of the day.

Spending part of your summer at Disneyland is going to be a blast. The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is still underway and you'll get to enjoy all of the festivities. My favorite part of this celebration is definitely the return of the Paint the Night parade. It's a must-see and you can't help but dance along to the music and lights from this electrifying parade. Check the Disneyland app for showtimes.

Ed, I hope this helps and gives you a starting point as you're making plans for getting to the parks. Stop by to see us with any other questions that come up as you continue to put the pieces together. Until then, here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! See ya real soon.
