Hey Howdy Hey Linda and welcome to planDisney!
When traveling to central Florida to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, you will have a variety of options to book your hotel accommodations. Not only do you have many onsite locations but also a wide selection of hotels that are very close to Walt Disney World property, which allows for easy access to the parks. I will have to say, many of these locations have shuttles but not all shuttles are created equally. Let's talk about how to navigate your way to and from the parks.
The first thing that I would recommend you do is get in contact with the front desk staff at the hotel you are staying at and ask about shuttles to and from
Magic Kingdom. Since this hotel is not owned nor operated by Walt Disney World, they will have their own schedule and recommendations on catching the shuttle. Make sure you ask about operating hours and check the
park calendar for hours available in Magic Kingdom as well.
If you need another alternative, your other option would be rideshares. You can feel free to call an Uber or Lyft to get you from one place to another. Sometimes these come in handy at the end of the night when a lot of people are trying to get back to the hotel. When you do get dropped off, the location for rideshares to do so is at the Transportation and Ticket Center located in the parking lot of Magic Kingdom. This is a quick monorail ride to the park so just be aware you will have to catch a ride either by
monorail or ferry boat.
I hope you have a Magical time during your upcoming vacation and please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
