Hi there, Ana!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for taking the time to ask us your
Disneyland Resort question. Paradise Pier Hotel is a great choice for your stay! The rooms there are decorated with bright and airy seaside-inspired furnishings (we love the fun beach ball pillows on the beds), and the property is just a hop, skip and a jump from the Downtown Disney District.
The three
Disneyland Resort Hotels are located as close to the theme parks as possible, so there is not a shuttle service available for Guests. The quickest walking route is to leave via your hotel’s rear exit, turn right, and then follow the walkway toward the Disneyland Hotel. There is a security checkpoint for all Guests at the entrance to the Downtown Disney District. The Disneyland Monorail Station at the
Downtown Disney District is right across from The LEGO Store. When operating, it can transport you to the Tomorrowland Monorail Station right inside Disneyland Park for a convenient and fun mode of resort transportation!
Additionally, Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals are available at the Disneyland Resort. These EVCs are single-rider vehicles for
Guests with mobility challenges to use in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. It’s best to arrive early in the day if you plan to rent one, because only a limited number are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You might also want to consider renting one via an outside company to ensure it will be available upon your arrival and for use all around the resort, including to and from the Downtown Disney District and your hotel, instead of just inside the theme parks.
I hope your pixie-dusted vacation planning is going well and that you're excited to experience all the magic that awaits you at the Happiest Place on Earth, Ana! Please don’t hesitate to send us more questions as your trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
