Hi there, Parker!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us your question about getting to the
Disneyland Resort. I’m sure you’re getting excited for the adventures ahead, and I’m glad to hear you’re busy planning all the magical details!
The Happiest Place on Earth is about 40 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and can be reached by bus, train, shuttle, taxi, and more, so travelers have plenty of options to choose from! In addition to app-based ride-hailing services like Lyft and Uber, there are several limousine, taxi, and shared-ride shuttle companies available that can take you directly to the resort once you land at LAX, plus public bus and train routes that service the area.
Karmel Shuttle operates a fleet of vehicles that service the Disneyland Resort and can be scheduled in advance online. You can receive curbside pick-up from the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal at the airport and drop-off at the
Disneyland Hotel. The type of vehicle will vary depending on the number of people in your party, and can include transport vans, SUVs, and town cars. After you’ve landed and collected your luggage from the baggage claim area, call (714) 670-3480, Ext. 2 for pickup. Or, if you’ve pre-booked your ride and provided a cell phone number, you’ll receive a text alert from Karmel Shuttle upon landing and can tap the “Ready to Go” link. You should receive a vehicle number and license plate number to ensure your safety.
I hope this helps you make your travel arrangements, Parker. Do you have any other questions? Please feel free to
write back and ask because we’d love to help you plan!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
