Welcome aboard planDisney, Dj! Thank you for bringing your Disney Cruise Line question to us.
While two Disney ships are departing the same day, I’m guessing you’re sailing out of San Diego aboard the Disney Magic for a
Very Merrytime celebration at sea. I haven’t sailed over Thanksgiving yet, but the thought of enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving meal prepared and served by the attentive crew sounds fantastic!
I did a little investigating, and the downtown San Diego train station, the Santa Fe Depot, is very close to the cruise terminal. In fact, it looks to be only two blocks away or a 10-minute walk. You could always reserve a taxi, rideshare, or SuperShuttle for the 4-minute drive to the port. I hope this information is music… ah, jingle bells… to your ears.
When you arrive at the port, you’ll present your Port Arrival Form, enter security, and complete the final check-in process. Make sure you bring with you the
citizenship documentation you provided during online check-in. While waiting for your boarding group number to be called, open the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see all the holly jolly fun planned for your cruise. From visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus to a flurry of “frozen” activities, there’s Christmas cheer in the air for the young and young-at-heart.
Dj, if I’ve missed the mark and you are sailing out of Port Canaveral, please
contact me directly so I can exchange this information faster than you can say SEAson’s greetings.
