Are there shows to watch onboard during port calls?

    Ahoy Cindy –
Oh how I adore the thrill of port days on Disney Cruise Line! On port days, a large number of guests choose to leave the ship in order to explore and enjoy exotic experiences. My crew and I have seen a number of ports and often we choose to stay onboard to try new things and just plain relax! During the day, there are no Broadway style shows to watch, but they will be available in the evenings once the ship has left port. First run movies will be playing in the Buena Vista Theatre and guests have a wide variety of programming and movies on the television in their staterooms. The Entertainment team usually will arrange deck parties, game shows, trivia contests and other fun activities during the day. Some of the things I like to do on port days include relaxing in the spa, enjoying the Quiet Cove and adult areas of the pool, riding the popular AquaDuck, watching a movie on Funnel Vision at the family pool, and lounging on Deck 4. Cindy, I am sure that you will find plenty to do on port days of call. Thank you for visiting with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
