Ahoy there, David! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so glad you and your crew are planning on casting-off for adventure on the
Disney Dream in a few months! both the itinerary and the experience are sure to be...MARVELous...
I couldn't resist.
A
Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Dream - it really does sound like a perfect vacation! When I last sailed on a
Marvel Day at Sea, it was on the Disney Magic, but I'm certain you and your crew can expect the same incredible experience on the Dream!
When it comes to the
entertainment available aboard, this special-themed cruise sure packs a punch, but not so much that it affects the Broadway-caliber shows you'll enjoy in the
Walt Disney Theatre. During your cruise, you should have the opportunity to see "The Golden Mickeys," "Disney's Believe," and "Beauty and the Beast" performed by the incredible entertainment cast!
When it comes to which nights, on nearly every sailing I've enjoyed on the Disney Dream, "The Golden Mickeys" was on the first night, and the other two shows varied by sailing! The good news is the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app refreshes to show the schedule of your specific sailing as soon as you're aboard - so you won't have to wait long to see which day you'll see the others! Remember, no matter which dinner seating you're assigned, you'll have the chance to see the evening's show, since each is performed twice a night, opposite your dining time! As you correctly mentioned, all entertainment is subject to change - now that's what I call being in the know!
Oh, and since it is a "Marvel Day at Sea," after all, plan on those festivities on one of the two scheduled days at sea for your itinerary! Again, check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as soon as you board!
I hope that makes for smooth sailing, David! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as your cruise approaches, please drop another message in a bottle here at planDisney!
EXCELSIOR!
Andrew
