Will it be too much to take in the shows and rides at Animal Kingdom on 12/18/12 and then head over to MVMCP? We are a family of 5 and daughter in law has never been to DIsney before.

    Hi Kim!

It sounds to be like you have a great plan in mind!
Personally, I love to make use of a fun, full evening after a day spent at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. I find that Animal Kingdom is such a relaxing park to stroll around and enjoy. Although there is plenty to do and see, the pace is somehow more laid back, especially when broken up with some great shows along the way! Be sure to take in both Finding Nemo - The Musical and Festival of the Lion King. They're both fantastic! We also really enjoy Flights of Wonder. Pick up a Daily Times Guide on your way into the park so that you can plan your show times accordingly. I'd recommend that you plan to arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom in time for park opening and head straight on over to the 'Africa' side of the park to enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition first thing. Then, you'll be able to work your way all the way across the park throughout the day.

I think you'll find that you'll be able to enjoy it all with energy and excitement to spare as you head on over to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Consider a dinner reservation at Yak & Yeti before leaving Animal Kingdom, or a reservation at Tony's Town Square or Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom, prior to party start time.

If you have additional questions on how to plan your perfect Disney Day at Animal Kingdom and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, please don't hesitate to write me back! I'd love to hear from you again Kim!
