Are there any fireworks/nighttime shows January 27 and 28? It looks like everything is closed???

    Hi there, Marta!

Welcome to planDisney, it's great to have you here! Nighttime spectaculars at the Disneyland Resort are dear to my heart, so I totally understand wanting to know what's on the schedule. No worries, I'm happy to be your entertainment guide!

I ventured off to check the Entertainment Schedule for the dates you are planning to visit and I must have had some extra pixie dust in my pocket because I see nighttime spectaculars on the schedule for both parks! Just follow that link, make sure the dates match your visit, and then look for "Fireworks and Nighttime Entertainment" to click and expand the schedule. At the moment I can see:

    • World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park! As a bonus, you can also see Hurry Home - A Lunar New Year Celebration with the 9:00 PM show!
    • Mickey's Mix Magic with Fireworks at Disneyland Park! This is such a cute and energetic show, you will be tapping your feet along with the music for sure.
Entertainment is always subject to change, so it's a good idea to check the daily schedule in the Disneyland Mobile App once you're at the parks.

The best way to make sure you're ready to enjoy these nighttime shows is to pack layers! The evenings can be chilly this time of year, and fireworks are definitely less magical when you're shivering. You can rent a locker to hold some of your warmer gear during the day if you don't feel like carrying it around. Of course, if you forget a jacket you can always buy a cute new sweatshirt...not that I've done that...it might have been on purpose. No judgment here!

Marta, I hope that you're able to feel all the magic of the nighttime shows this weekend! Safe travels!

    Keep moving forward!
