Greetings, Nina, and welcome to planDisney! The Disneyland Resort is waiting for you – can you imagine the joy of hearing the harmonized tunes of
The Dapper Dans and enjoying a crispy churro? Let's make sure you're all set for your upcoming visit!
You can view detailed entertainment schedules on the
Hours and Events Calendar on the Disneyland website, as well as on the
Disneyland mobile app. You'll have quite a few shows to consider as you plan your itinerary. Here are a few of my favorites:
- Bluey's Best Day Ever! (Disneyland): This is one of the newest offerings, and a lot of fun, especially for fans of the Heeler Family! There’s live music, lots of references to the show, and more to enjoy. My kids loved seeing Bluey and Bingo "for real life!"
- Paint the Night (Disneyland): This is easily one of my favorite shows. Bright lights, high-energy music, and dazzling floats make for an electrifying atmosphere. I usually watch the second show because it's easier to get a prime viewing spot.
- The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade (Disneyland): Soak up the festive atmosphere of the 70th Anniversary by watching this cute little parade, which typically happens twice each day.
- Projection Shows (Disneyland): Wondrous Journeys is especially spectacular against the castle and "it's a small world." The latter is also where you can watch Tapestry of Happiness. Head over to Galaxy's Edge for Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.
- Disney California Food & Wine Entertainment (California Adventure): Cookin' with the Jammin’ Chefs is a high-energy and captivating show that runs multiple times each day during the festival. There are also live music performances.
- World of Color (California Adventure): Towering fountains, projections, bright colors, lights, and special effects come together in this nighttime show. Make sure to join the virtual queue to get a great viewing spot!
- Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! (California Adventure): This is an amazing show for families with little ones. There's a fun story, great music, lots of dancing, and other surprises.
There are even more options, including atmosphere entertainment. You'll have lots of ways to fill your day with magic when you're not enjoying attractions, shopping, or dining.
Nina, make sure you have the
mobile app on your phone to learn when to catch these shows and more. Through the app, you can check attraction wait times, see where and when to meet Characters, place mobile orders for food, and more. It adds a lot of convenience to the day.
If you think of any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
