Welcome, Tracy!
Thanks for asking this important question about your upcoming stay at
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. I’m so excited to see you’ll be visiting at the
most magical time of the year, and camping will surely be a special experience for many great memories together.
Yes, there are shower facilities available for your use. These are called Comfort Stations, and you’ll find them on the map given to you upon arrival with a bold “CS” on the map. I counted 15 of these special facilities around the campsite areas, so there is sure to be one right by your personal campsite. These facilities have bathrooms, showers, laundry rooms, ice machines, and resort information available to you 24 hours a day.
At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, you’re just a
short boat ride away from
Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort but will feel like you’re in a whole new world nestled in your peaceful campsite. It’s an amazing way to experience the
Walt Disney World Resort and I hope your family has an incredible time!
I hope you can plan to enjoy the spectacular dinner show at nearby Pioneer Hall, the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! It includes a delicious dinner of all you care to eat smoked meats, sides, and their famous friend chicken, topped off with the even more famous strawberry shortcake. The dinner show is a lively variety show that will make you laugh until you cry, but also be in awe of these wonderful singers. When I enjoyed this experience last December, they also performed some holiday tunes and the setting was decorated beautifully for the holidays.
I hope knowing more about the Comfort Stations has your mind at ease and ready to enjoy this wonderful vacation, Tracy. Please let us know how else we can help you make the most of this special visit.
Wishing you a magical holiday visit,
Amy
