Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Luke. I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort next week! I am sure you are counting down the days.
When I heard that
"A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King" would be opening in time for my family's upcoming Disney vacation, I squealed out loud. I just can't wait to catch a performance while we're experiencing a wild adventure at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!
You are correct that there are 7:00 PM showtimes listed for this Broadway-style show. If Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is scheduled to close at 7:00 PM on the date of your visit, then you're in luck! Viewing "A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King" for it's last daily showing at 7:00 PM just means you're going to get a little extra time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Isn't that great? Reservations for performances are not available. Seating is limited, so it's recommended that Guests check the
My Disney Experience mobile app or speak with a Cast Member at Harambe Theatre for queue information and show availability. I'm hoping that my family can catch the late performance when we visit, so I plan to check with a Cast Member at Harambe Theatre earlier in the day for any tips they may have about being seated for a show.
Be sure to review the
Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your arrival. It has lots of important updates about the health and safety measures you can expect in and out of the theme parks!
I hope this was helpful, Luke. I'm wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Ashley
