Aloha Emily, welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that your trip to paradise is just around the corner, you’re going to love staying at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa! My family visited the resort recently during the same time of year and had such a wonderful time. The resort itself is absolutely stunning and is a seamless blend of Hawaiian culture and Disney imagineering and is the perfect backdrop for creating core memories with family and friends!
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is home to a few different table service restaurants including
‘AMA‘AMA (an open air restaurant where you can dine and experience a stunning Hawaiian sunset),
Makahiki (home to a Character breakfast where you can meet Mickey Mouse and his pals) and I can’t forget to mention the unforgettable
KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au on Oʻahu at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, where Guests follow the journey of Hawaiian history. While it is sometimes possible to dine at the restaurants without a reservations (reservations are required for the lū‘au) , I highly recommend booking when the 30 day window opens. I would hate for you to miss out on an experience you had your heart set on. Reservations can be made online through the Aulani website.
If you find yourself looking for a quick bite to eat, head over to the
Ulu Cafe which is conveniently located next to the
Waikolohe Valley pool area. You’ll find a variety of ready-to-go foods in addition to a variety of hot entrées - the pizzas and Açai bowls were a hit with my kids.
When you arrive at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, you’ll quickly discover that you can make your stay as busy or as relaxing as you wish. There are many activities offered throughout the resort such as
Character Experiences, arts and crafts at the
Pau Hana Room - Community Hall, Ukulele lessons or even craft your own Mickey ears. Check out the \\\\ for the times and locations for your entire stay. If relaxation is what you’re seeking, you may want to look into a visit at
Laniwai - a Disney Spa. Here, you’ll find
Kula Wai: the only outdoor hydrotherapy garden found on O‘ahu.
No matter what you decide on doing, you will have a wonderful time at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Emily. Please
let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help!
A Hui Hou, (this means until we see each other again in Hawaiian)
