Can you show proof of Florida residency/ ID somewhere the night before your park day to activate your tickets/magic bands for the next day? So that if you are trying to rope drop you don't have to do it the morning of? Thank you!

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to planDisney! Are you counting down the days until your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation?

You and I are on the same page. Rope drop is the only way to kickstart your Disney day. To save precious morning minutes, you should consider stopping by the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. When I needed to verify my residency for my annual pass renewal, I just went by Guest Services, and they were able to help me get my passes ready for my park day. The Disney Ticket Center is located near the Disney Springs Welcome Center and is open Sunday- Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. When you get to the ticket center, just give the Cast Member your information, and they will get you in the line and help you verify your residency. The great thing is that if you would like to do a little shopping or explore Disney Springs, you can give them your number to be contacted when it is your turn. I usually use the time to get a snack personally. You can also go to any park's Ticket center and do the same. Just like magic, with just a little bit of pixie dust, you will be ready to go and rope drop!

I hope this was helpful, and you can get your tickets activated before your upcoming park day!
