Can you show me which outlet can I bring for multiple devices?

Ahoy, Cota, and welcome to planDisney! This is a great question – while on a cruise, you may have a few items that need to be charged, like phones, tablets, and DisneyBand+ wristbands. Let's talk about how to keep them powered up!

For the safety of everyone on board, it's important to note that there are restrictions when it comes to electronics. Extension cords, power strips, multi-plugs, and surge protectors are not allowed on board Disney Cruise ships. Prohibited items like these, as well as anything else that may be considered a safety risk, will be confiscated during the security screening process. See the list of prohibited and restricted items on the Disney Cruise Line website.

Instead, consider bringing a standard USB-A or USB-C charging hub that plugs into a single outlet. On previous cruises, I've brought a compact four-port USB wall charger and didn't have any problems. Any item that doesn't meet the safety guidelines will not be permitted on board, so it's best to keep it simple.

I've also noticed that there are typically USB ports in the staterooms I've stayed in – they are usually near the bed and at the desk. The number and type may vary depending on the ship, but that may be another option for you. Your stateroom has many other features that will "recharge" you as well! You can look forward to relaxing on a plush mattress with cozy bedding, enjoying signature bath products, ordering room service, and more.

Ahead of your cruise, make sure you have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You can use the onboard chat feature to stay connected with family and friends, view activity schedules, get rotational dining details, and more. With your phone charged and ready to go, you'll be all set to take full advantage of the app.

Cota, I hope you have a fantastic time sailing the high seas with Disney Cruise Line. If you need assistance or have additional questions once you set sail, you can stop by the Guest Services Desk or call the Guest Services phone line from your stateroom. Of course, if you think of any other questions ahead of embarkation day, you're welcome to reach out to us here at planDisney!
