Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pamela!
I see you are counting down the
hours until your Walt Disney World Resort holiday! There is so much magic in store for you on your upcoming vacation, and I hope you have the very best time!
I have just the magical map for you.
This interactive Walt Disney World Resort map features the theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and all resort areas. You can even plot activities on the map! I’ve set it to show
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, and if you zoom in and out, you’ll be able to see where
Magic Kingdom Park is in proximity to your resort, as well as see the roads that connect the two locations.
Because there is so much pixie dust all around the resort as new experiences are being built, keep in mind that this map may not be the most handy tool to get you from point A to point B if you’re driving your own car. When driving at Walt Disney World, my family uses a mobile app like Google Maps or Waze, which detects construction and traffic and can reroute you in real time. I see you are traveling from the U.K., so if you’re not able to spare the mobile data, I would suggest asking for a map at the Front Desk of your resort hotel.
If you won’t have a vehicle, you’ll be in great hands with
Walt Disney World Bus Transportation. Even when my family drives our own car to Walt Disney World, we still use the bus to get to Magic Kingdom Park, because its parking situation is a little more complicated than the other theme parks. If you do drive, you’ll need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take either the monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom Park.
The Parking web page provides more details on parking cost (theme park parking is complimentary for Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests) and a parking map, which you may find helpful.
Safe travels, Pamela! Let the magic begin!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
