Do you have to show id for your ticket at Disneyland

It’s a small world after all, and I’m so glad you found your way back to planDisney, Nicole! I’d love to help you with another question.

Upon entering the Disneyland Resort, you shouldn’t need to show ID, unless you purchased the 3-Day SoCal Resident Ticker Offer. If that’s the case, then you’ll need to show valid government-issued ID with an eligible ZIP code at the Main Entrance upon entering. This offer can be used on weekdays by Southern California Residents living within ZIP codes 90000-93599. Just keep in mind that it must be used by May 26, 2022. Otherwise, if you’re entering with a regular theme park ticket, then you won’t need to worry about showing your ID.

Also, if you haven’t already added it to your ticket, I recommend purchasing Disney Genie+ Service. It’s my favorite handy helper in the theme parks! It includes faster access to about 19 attractions in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, in addition to unlimited downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos! You can add Disney Genie+ as soon as you enter either theme park by using your Disneyland app. From the home screen, tap on the three lines in the lower-right corner. Select “My Genie Day” and look for “Get Disney Genie+ for Today.” Now, tap “Get Disney Genie+ Service,” and you’ll be prompted to select which tickets are eligible to add Genie+ for that day. Simply select the tickets you’d like to add the service to, and off you go… the Genie’s magic awaits!

In addition, there are currently three attractions not included in Genie+, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, and Radiator Springs Racers. These attractions can be purchased as Individual Lightning Lanes, and you can purchase up to two of them per day.

I hope this information helps, Nicole! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!

    Wishing you magic,
    Kristin
