    will we have to show ID as we enter park for first time. Want to go in December 2012??

    Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing your question to us today. It’s so exciting to hEAR that you are planning to Return to a Land of Magic, later this year. 

    As you may have already heard, you will need a theme park ticket, as well as a theme park reservation, to enter the parks. When you make your theme park reservation, you will be asked to log into your Disney account. (Tip: Make sure your Disney account has the correct address linked to it, since this address will be used to help verify your California residency). 

    Once you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, identification may also be checked at the gate. I do recommend keeping your government-issued state ID on hand, Dawna. I can’t wait for you to head back to The Happiest Place on Earth!
