Julie from VA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We show as having reserved floats for Castaway Cay. We don't see a charge for them or a place to pay. Are they actually reserved or not?

Ahoy there, Julie! Thanks for sailing my way with your question about reserving floats!

There's nothing like a day at Disney Castaway Cay to put yourself in the MOST relaxed mood you'll likely ever find yourself in. The crystal clear water, the wonderful scenery, and the Disney Cruise Line service you've come to enjoy, it truly is magical.

Even more magical, when it comes to float rentals - and nearly all Port Adventures - you won't see a charge because these reservation fees will be applied to your onboard folio! No need to pay in advance, and if you've chosen to settle your onboard account with a credit card, you won't even need to make a stop at Guest Services unless you have a question about a charge! On your Castaway Cay day, you'll be able to head over to Flippers and Floats and get your rental! Here's a planDrew-approved tip: done with your raft or float for a while? Your rental is good all day, and there's no need to cart it around with you all over the island - turn it in and return for it later, and you won't be weighed down with it!

Oh, and speaking of your folio, once you're aboard, you'll be able to find your current charges in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! So whether you're looking to keep track of everything you've charged or are just finding more ways to pass the time while out on your float in the waters of Castaway Cay, it will be right there when you have questions!

Thank you so much for your question, Julie. I hope that things go swimmingly during your voyage, and especially during your visit to Disney Castaway Cay! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others surface while you continue planning, we're just a message in a bottle away here at planDisney!

    Bon Voyage!
