Welcome to planDisney, Nicole! It's shaping up to be a magical week at the Walt Disney World Resort, and before you know it, you'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. living in that magic! Let's chat about your tickets to make sure you'll be good to go to scan into the parks when you arrive!
Nicole, on your
My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the tile that says "Tickets & Passes" to view your existing tickets. It sounds like when you do this, you see your tickets without a barcode. The good news is that you do not need to scan the barcode to enter the parks; instead, you can save your ticket to your digital wallet and use a
Disney Magic Mobile pass or even use a
MagicBand if it is already linked to your My Disney Experience account.
If you do not see the option to "Save to Wallet", Hakuna Matata (it means, no worries!) certain ticket types may not be activated immediately upon purchase. Tickets linked to a
vacation package, for example, will not display a barcode until you have checked into your Disney Resort hotel on your arrival day. Other ticket types may require you to stop by a ticket window to verify your ID. I would take a look at the details of your specific ticket to see if it requires you to do either of these things; this information is usually displayed on your ticket in the mobile app.
Nicole, I hope this helps to troubleshoot your ticket information! If you arrive at the parks and have any trouble scanning into the magic, you can stop by a
Guest Relations window for assistance or have the Cast Member at the turnstile help you!
If you have any other questions before your trip, you're always as welcome as can be here at
planDisney, so come back and see us again anytime!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
