1.) Are shorts and tee-shirts acceptable attire for the pools? 2.) Which Disney Moderate Resort pools offer the latest "after park" hours?

    Hi Sue,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

To answer your first question, yes, I’ve seen several Guests wearing shorts and t-shirts while enjoying their Walt Disney World Resort Hotel’s pool, so you should be ok. For your own comfort, I would just make sure that whatever you choose to wear isn’t too bulky or cumbersome. Don’t forget that you may have a relatively long walk back to your hotel room once you’ve finished your swim!

As for the pool hours, I’ve found that they vary depending on the seasons at most Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. I’ve seen them open as late as midnight during the summer months, and I’ve also seen them close as early as 9-10:00 p.m. during the colder winter months. I think it’s safe to say that most Moderate Resort Hotels will have similar pool hours during a given month, unless they're undergoing refurbishments. Again, if you have any questions, you can ask the Front Desk or your Resort’s Concierge Cast Members for further assistance.

    Have a Magical Day,
