We will shortly be able to book our dining reservations and we would like to go to Hoop De Doo as we have never done this before. We are visiting from the UK - how do we make a booking? Thank you

Howdy, Rebecca! I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney and answer your question about the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This is one of my favorite experiences in all of Walt Disney World Resort, and I can't wait for you to take it all in for the first time! I recently ate here with a party of 12 and we had a blast! It's a rootin'-tootin' all-you-care-to-enjoy extravaganza that's fun for the whole family, so let's take a look at how to book this one-of-a-kind dinner and a show.

Your dining reservation booking window is coming up soon, and if you're staying onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel you'll be able to book 60 days prior to your check-in date for up to 10 days of your stay. When you log in on your booking date, you may have a better selection of dates and times further into your trip than at the start of it. This is especially important if you want Category 1 seating on the floor of Pioneer Hall. Once you find a suitable date and time, you'll select the number of people who are dining and pay for your reservation in full.

Our clocks will not have "sprung ahead" an hour for daylight saving time on the day you can start booking dining reservations, so that will be 6AM EST or 11AM GMT.

Once you've secured your reservation, all there will be left to do is dream about the hearty menu of ribs, fried chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and other favorites! Adults age 21 and over can enjoy beer and wine included with their dinner, and guests of all ages will love the iconic strawberry shortcake dessert. You'll laugh, sing, and clap all evening long, and I just know you'll have a phenomenal time.

Before we go, let's discuss travel to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. If you're staying at a resort on the monorail loop, you can take the monorail or a boat to Magic Kingdom and transfer there to take a boat to Ft. Wilderness via the resort launch dock. The dock at the Fort is right by Pioneer Hall, so this is my preferred mode of transportation. You can also take a bus to Magic Kingdom from other resorts and then get on a boat to the Fort. Aside from these complimentary options, you may also consider taking a Minnie Van, which can drop you off just steps from the restaurant's front door.

Okie dokie, Rebecca. Those are all the details you'll need to enjoy an evening with the Pioneer Hall Players. Come back and see us at planDisney if you think of additional questions!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
