What is the shortest way to get from the BBboutique in Downtown disney (appointment at 9am) to the Cinderella's table in MK (reservation at noon). We would like to take this opportunity to take monorail. Do we need to have Park hopper for the monorail?

    Hi Annick,

What a wonderful day your princess is going to have!

None of the Disney transportation goes directly from Downtown Disney to the gates of Magic Kingdom, and the monorail doesn't extend to Downtown Disney, unfortunately.

My family usually finds that the simplest, most efficient way to make the trip is to catch a bus from Downtown Disney to the Contemporary resort and then walk to Magic Kingdom. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. From the Contemporary, it's an easy walk of 10 or 15 minutes to the front gate.

If you have time and want to ride the monorail, you can catch it inside the Contemporary. It will make stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian on its way to the Magic Kingdom station.

You never need a park ticket to ride the monorail, so if, on another day, you want a longer journey on the monorail, you can catch the one that travels between Epcot and the Transportation and Ticket Center. My husband is a huge monorail fan, and we sometimes make the round-trip ride just for the fun of it.

I hope that answers your question. Please let me know if I can offer other assistance. Enjoy your time with your family at Walt Disney World!
