We have a short visit to Orlando this month but only want a single day ticket to Magic Kingdom. The website will only redirect us to purchase 7 day and 14 day tickets. Please can you advise how we buy a single day ticket.

    Hi Rebeca,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller!

I believe that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort from the United Kingdom. If that’s correct, then you’ll have to purchase any Theme Park Tickets for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort from its UK website, and there are unfortunately no single day tickets for Magic Kingdom Park available for purchase prior to your arrival in the United States.

Because your visit is likely coming up in a few short days, your best option would be to purchase your tickets in-person, once you arrive in Central Florida, at the Disney Springs Welcome Center prior to the day on which you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park. That way, you’ll be able to get to the fun and start your Disney Day more quickly, without having to queue at a ticket window and lose precious morning touring time. If you aren’t staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can also ask your hotel’s concierge or information desk to see whether they have any single-Day Theme Park Tickets for sale; most local hotels do offer their guests that option.

Important tip: Please check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Tool frequently to make sure that the date you’d like to visit Magic Kingdom Park is still available. As we get closer and closer to the Memorial Day holiday weekend in the United States (the last weekend in May), the Parks may start to get busier. If the date that you’d like to visit can’t be changed, I highly recommend that you “lock in” your Park date by purchasing your tickets as quickly as possible once you arrive Stateside.

I hope that this information helps you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort and the Central Florida area. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions – we’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
