Ahoy, Lenise! Welcome back to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your Disney Cruise Line questions and set you on course for a successful sailing where magic meets the sea.
Your stateroom host or hostess will assist you for the duration of your stay onboard and can provide some items upon request, such as extra towels or pillows. However, step stools are not available to borrow.
Unfortunately, collapsible or folding step stools may not be brought onboard either. Although they are not expressly mentioned on the
Prohibited and Restricted Items list, step stools are generally not allowed because of the potential safety risk.
The good news is that most
staterooms have a stool or low-back chair located at the desk or vanity area, which is movable and could be used to give you the extra boost that you need to get onto the bed.
If you are concerned about the bed height due to a specific disability or medical need, then I suggest reaching out to Disney Cruise Line’s
Special Services regarding possible accommodations and recommendations. Accessible rooms are available for booking and feature modifications to assist guests with a variety of special needs.
I hope you have an amazing cruise and enjoy every minute spent onboard. If you have any other questions before you set sail, then feel free to reach back out to us at planDisney. Happy sailing!
