Hi there, Marie!
Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you are sailing on the Disney Cruise Line soon. How fun! Don't forget to check out this helpful
packing list. I am an over-packer, and this list helps me focus...at least a little!
Documentation requirements can vary, as they depend on the cruise itinerary. Generally, an original state-issued birth certificate and a physical government-issued photo ID are needed to sail on the Disney Cruise Line if a passport is not required. I recommend visiting the
Passports, Visas, & Citizenship Documentation page for information specific to your sailing. Since requirements differ, reviewing the Documentation page is an important step to ensure you have the proper paperwork. You can also
call a helpful Cast Member at the Disney Cruise Line if you would like assistance in determining the requirements for your cruise.
Have you booked any experiences for your cruise yet?
Port Adventures (often called excursions) and
Onboard Activities can be reserved during your
booking window. First-time Guests can usually book activities 75 days before your ship sets sail. Some Onboard Activities are well-loved, such as the
Beverage Tastings and the
Princess Gatherings, and I suggest making reservations as soon as they become available. If a preferred experience is unavailable, you can try stopping by
Guest Services on embarkation day to see if they have any openings.
Marie, have a fantastic vacation! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
