Hi there, Connie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow! You have a
WONDERful cruise planned with beyond beautiful ports of call to visit! My family sailed the Southern Caribbean earlier this year and it was picturesque each day! You get the sun and sand and can pretty much guarantee perfect weather, which is a nice break from a cold winter! I hope you’ve set a cruise countdown clock on the
Navigator app to help pass the days away!
You will definitely be able to find some great local souvenirs right off the ship! The locations you will be visiting are heavy tourist areas and the locals know when to expect ship at port. Within walking distance of the ship you will be able to find many locations to shop at so that you don’t leave empty-handed! My boys collect key chains from each port of call we visit and we always manage to be able to walk and find exactly what we are looking for – in addition to other unique items local to where we've docked!
A fun thing to do as you are awaiting your Online Check-In and Booking window to open is to look through excursions available through
Port Adventures. Booking your onshore activities through Disney Cruise Line is, in my opinion, the best option because it takes all the planning and organizing from you! You just book the activity and it’s all covered from that point on! We love a good beach day when visiting beachy destinations and Port Adventures ensures you get to visit a great one, taking all the guesswork away!
Wishing you a wonderful and magical sailing with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
