    Is shopping walking distance from where the ship docks in Nassau?

    Ahoy, Daniela!

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your upcoming Disney Cruise to the Bahamas will be filled with adventure! There are so many activities to do onboard each Disney Cruise ship. You're asking about one of my favorite activities while at sea with Captain Mickey: shopping!

    I'm excited to share that shopping is just steps away from where the ship docks in Nassau, Bahamas! If you want authentic Bahamian souvenirs, I recommend taking a short walk to the Straw Market. There, you'll find local merchants excited to sell their beautifully handmade items. You'll find many different items to choose from such as jewelry, purses, wall art and more!

    Keep an eye out for the "Port Shopping Talk" listed in your Personal Navigator newsletter. This is an excellent seminar for anyone interested in shopping in Nassau! The amazing Port Shopping Guides will give you a map of the most popular shops in the area and often will include coupons, too! This shopping seminar is usually held a day or two before your arrival at Nassau.
