When shopping how can I make my dollar last at Epcot? & what other money saving tips do you have? we are staying at a value resort on wdw & have the meal plan so what else do you suggest? thank you :)

    Hi there Alyssa!

I understand completely the need to budget while on vacation. The great news is, you've already come up with two great ways to put more shopping money in your pocket by staying at a Disney Value Resort and adding one of the dining plans to your package.

One of my all-time-favorite unofficial websites for minimizing expenses can be found at: www.mousesavers.com. I especially love this site's section on "FREE and Cheap Stuff to Do at Walt Disney World"! Simply type that exact phrase into the search box at the top of the page. You'll be amazed at all of the inexpensive options!

Also, be sure to take advantage of the refrigerator in your room to keep bottled water chilled and ready to carry into the parks with you. That way, you can make the most out of your dining plan snack credits by not using them to purchase drinks. Instead, I would recommend that you take those snack credits on a delightful stroll around World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot and sample some delicious tapas-style delicacies from around the globe!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your FIRST Disney vacation for even more money saving ideas!
