Are shopping cart strollers allowed in? So it’s almost like a dog stroller.

Hello, Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney! The countdown is on for your October visit to the Disneyland Resort. Let’s make sure your plans go off without a hitch.

At the Disneyland Resort, only strollers that meet the park guidelines are allowed inside the theme parks. The Property Rules state that strollers must not exceed 31 inches x 52 inches. Also, wagons, stroller wagons, and trailer-like objects that are pushed or pulled are not allowed. Strollers must also be folded before being brought on transportation throughout the Resort, such as the tram and Disneyland Monorail.

Rebecca, there is a chance that the stroller you mentioned could be classified as a wagon or trailer-like object – it's difficult to say for sure without knowing exactly what it looks like, but from your description, there's a chance it could be flagged at the security checkpoint. Cast Members at the checkpoints have the discretion to make the determination. If they deem your stroller cannot be allowed through, you'd need to take it back to your hotel room or vehicle.

It may be best to bring a more traditional stroller to avoid any potential issues. You also have the option to rent either a single and double stroller at the side of the Disneyland Park main entrance. If you are looking for a way to store items while you are in the park, consider renting a locker, which you can access an unlimited number of times throughout the day.

Now, let's talk about something spooky – Halloween Time! There's nothing quite like seeing all the pumpkins and other decorations materialize across the Resort. You'll be enchanted by the fun, seasonal entertainment and spellbinding versions of favorite attractions like Haunted Mansion. For an extra special treat, consider joining Disney's Happiest Haunts Guided Tour, which is a two-hour guided experience across Disneyland Park.

Rebecca, I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your trip. Please let us know if you have any other questions – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!

Wishing you a trip full of magic, smiles, and happy memories,
