Hi Shonette, I have two questions. We are bringing our family 11 people-5 kids, 6 adults to Disney April of ‘26. Is there any lodging in Disney for that large of a group? 2. If we stay off Disney, can we split up a two day ticket and come a Tues and thurs

Heigh-ho, Cindy, and welcome to planDisney!

Magic mirror on the wall, who has the most exciting question of them all? It's you! Nothing is more special than a big family vacation in The Most Magical Place on Earth! While I may not be Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc, or Dopey, I can easily see this question is a true gem. So, with a smile and a song, let's help you create the perfect family vacation!

Cindy, if you and your family wish to stay together, you'll discover some magical three-bedroom accommodations at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Disney's Old Key West Resort, and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. These Deluxe Villas can comfortably accommodate your party of 11. A few years ago, my family and I stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and the memories we made together were priceless. There are several other villa options, which you can find on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Also, explore separate family suites available at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These accommodations can comfortably sleep six adults. I'm not bashful about telling you that I stayed in one of these family suites a few months ago and really appreciated having the extra space.

You also have the option to book separate rooms at any of the Disney Resort hotels, giving you a wide range of choices in terms of price, theme, and location. From the enchanting Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans Resort-Riverside to the unique sand-bottomed pool, lazy river, and fantastic water slide at Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club, numerous options are available for your stay. I hope you'll take the time to find which Resort hotel fits best for your happy family.

Let's address the second part of your question regarding tickets. I'm happy to let you know that when you purchase a 2-day ticket, it remains valid for several days. For example, your 2-day ticket starting Tuesday will also be valid on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This means you don't have to use the ticket on consecutive days. Your plan sounds perfect!

Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, Cindy! It's off to Walt Disney World you go, and planDisney will be here every step of the way. We will never offer poison apples-only pixie-dusted advice, so stop by anytime. Helping you make magical memories is what we are all about.

    Wishing you well,
    Shonette
