Hi Francisca!
I am so glad you found us while doing resEARch for a Disney Cruise Line vacation! We have been traveling with our boys since they were both under one and we have some special memories from those days!
Currently, Disney Cruise Line has four ships in their fleet with three more coming in the future! The Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream are the two larger ships and the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder are smaller ships. My family is fortunate to have sailed on each ship and I can honestly say that they are all perfect for Guests of all ages! All have the
“it’s a small world” nursery! onboard where the youngest cruisers can play; we utilized the nursery onboard a lot when our boys were younger because it was so nice to enjoy some kid-free time during vacation. Children that are not potty-trained are restricted from going in the onboard pools, but you will find Nemo’s Reef on the larger ships and a fun splash pad area for the littles on the smaller ones. Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little ones so easy and convenient you simply cannot go wrong with any of the ships!
The main differences in the ships are the
itineraries and the length of cruise. Currently the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy depart from Port Canaveral and primarily visit the Caribbean and Bahamas. The Disney Wonder varies its itinerary throughout the year visiting Alaska and the California Coast as well as departures from Galveston in late fall. The Disney Magic has a variety of itineraries including Europe in the summer months and departures from New York!
I hope you will come back with more questions once you book the perfect sailing date for you!
