When shipping a droid and/or lightsaber, can I choose the date it will arrive?

    Hi Suzanne!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for reaching out to us hEAR with this Disneyland Resort shopping question. (My favorite kind of question to answer!)

I don't know much about Star Wars, but I do know all about Disneyland Resort shopping and shipping merchandise home. While there isn't really a way to set a receiving date, you can kind of play around with your options to make the timeline fit more in your favor. First, be sure to ask if the date and price quoted to you is your only option; I don't think the first one that is read to you is the overnight choice, but there are usually two or three different estimated delivery dates that usually depend on how much you'd like to spend.

Packages paid to be shipped home will get picked up from Disney either the same day the shipping was paid, or possibly the next day. (This depends on what time of day you make the transaction, as worldwide ((galaxy-wide?)) third party shipping companies also have last pick-up times daily in Batuu just like on Earth.) And one last way to give yourself a few more shipping days is to send your stuff home on your last Disney Day. While you may make your light sword at Savi's Workshop or build a robot buddy at Droid Depot, you'll actually head over to First Order Cargo to start the process of sending these items on their own (air)space journey. There isn't a requirement that to ship items you need to do so on the day they were built/purchased. If this were me, I would try to send them on their way on my last Disneyland Park day and later in the evening, to give me as much extra transit time as possible.

I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Suzanne! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account where we share all kinds of tips and tricks.
