Welcome to planDisney, Janina!
Hooray! Your Disney Cruise Line voyage is just a few months away. I can’t wait for you to step aboard and begin exploring your ship.
First, I highly recommend downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. As soon as you
connect to the ship's Wi-Fi, the app will list all the activities happening on your sailing, and you'll also have handy deck plans at your fingertips. The app is like having your own personal Cruise Director in the palm of your hand.
As far as tours go, Disney has offered in the past a Walking Ship tour on embarkation day. This family-friendly tour is approximately 30 minutes and will help you get your bearings. There is also an Art of the Theme Show tour for Guests 18+. This tour shows how Imagineers approach the theming of each section of the ship. Finally, if you are sailing on the Disney Wish, you can take the Walking the Wish tour and see how technology and storytelling come together on this gorgeous ship. Entertainment is subject to change. I suggest checking the app when you board the ship to see what’s offered on your sailing.
For a look behind the scenes, you can
view the programming available on your stateroom television. I’ve seen shows about Disney’s recycling efforts, how they create drinking water at sea, and even how all the laundry is handled. You could always order a complimentary Mickey Ice Cream Bar from
Room Service and watch one of these short shows.
I hope you enjoy all the entertainment from bow to stern. Here at planDisney, we are all hands on deck, ready to help you plan your exciting voyage. Please stop by again.
SEAS the adventure!
