Are the ship photographers in the Kids clubs??? It is my understanding adults(parents) are only allowed in during open house hours, so hoping the photographers would be there to capture the magic when we aren't. Thanks.

    Ahoy, Gayle!

One of the best things about vacationing with Disney Cruise Line is having access to the incredible Youth Clubs - and they're included in the cost of your cruise! My kids have spent time in every youth area, from the nursery to the teen club, and have loved every minute. Not only do my kids enjoy the clubs, but while our kids are being well taken care of,  my husband and I have a chance to explore the ship on our own!

I'm a mom that likes to document our vacation with pictures - hundreds and hundreds of them! I worried that I would miss so much by not being able to take pictures of my girls in the youth spaces. While it's true that parents are welcome to visit and take photos during open house hours (and I took plenty!), there were lots of times when I wouldn't be there when they were in the club! On our last cruise, I noticed on the daily schedule that the kids would be enjoying a Character Visit while in the Oceaneer Club. At the end of the evening, when I picked up my child, she had a printed picture of her with Captain Hook! Though not the norm, it was nice to have that moment captured on film for her. That being said, there are not dedicated photographers in the youth spaces. I was happy to get a photo that time, though!

No worries - you'll have plenty of opportunities to capture the magic with the onboard photographers. Keep an eye out for them around the pool deck for some cool casual photos, and also on Castaway Cay if your itinerary stops there. Some of my favorite photos of my kids were taken of them splashing away in the ocean on Disney's private island!

I hope this helps answer your question. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
