can i ship a package to our hotel just prior to our arrival as a surprsise for my husband and daughter's? will resort staff set it up in our room?? how do you know ahead of time which days the parks are open late for in-park guests? thanks, steph

Hi Stephanie!  Every child loves surprises and sending them on ahead will be a great way to make this happen.  You can indeed ship a box ahead to your resort.  The resort address can be found on the Disney website by clicking on the resort where you will be staying for your vacation.

Please try to time the arrival of the package so it won't be sitting for too many days before your first day.  I like to try to ship it so it arrives a couple of days before I do.  When addressing a box please put your name on the top line and then the second line should state, ARRIVAL DATE: ? ? ?.  Follow this with the resort name and address.

The resort will not deliver anything to your room until you check in.  You can ask the front desk if a box is waiting when you do your check-in business and then ask them to have the bell staff deliver it to your room as soon as possible.  They will not open the box but will bring it sealed to the room.  Hopefully, this will be enough of a surprise to see that a box is waiting for them to open!

    Enjoy your great Disney vacation!
