Ahoy Georgia –
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel; we are so happy to have you with us! I was shocked to hear about the age limit of 3 at
Nephews’ Splash Zone because I honestly never saw any one being asked about their age in that area. The Nephews’ Splash Zone is part of the
AquaLab which is an 1800 square feet area for the entire family to enjoy being together and getting completely soaked. There are leaky pipes, pop-up jets, geysers and buckets of water splashing around to cool off your pirate crew no matter what age they are. It does clearly state online that the Nephews’ part of the AquaLab is specifically for the little ones, and I am sure this is to keep them safe from rowdy big kids. However, I think that your entire family should be able to appreciate parts of the Aqualab together without any issues. Another great place for your family to bond is
Open House in any of the Youth Clubs (Oceaneer, Nursery, Edge, Vibe). During Open House, guests of any age are allowed to play along with a responsible adult. When my son was a baby pirate, he was able to play in tandem with my grade-schooler during this time, and they were able to have fun in a safe place. Georgia, I hope this helps with your planning, and please feel free to stop by if you need further assistance.
