Does Shiki-Sai take reservations for 5 people? I can find numerous available reservations for a group of 4 but when I try 5 people I only get “nothing available”. We have reservations at the Polynesian Village Resort and there are 5 of us.

    Hi Richard,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your dining reservation question! You’ve certainly chosen a meal fit for a warrior—Shiki-Sai is a fantastic place to immerse yourself in the flavors of Japan. My family and I are sushi lovers, and this spot is definitely one of our must-dos!

Now, Richard, let’s get down to business and tackle your question. Shiki-Sai does accept reservations for parties of 5 or larger, but availability can be tricky. Here are a few tips I use when trying to book a dining reservation.

    1. If your schedule allows you to be flexible, go directly to Shiki-Sai’s reservation page and select the button that says "Select Available Days." This will show multiple days and times, giving you a better chance of securing a table for your whole party, although it may not be for the original date you intended.

    2. I recommend splitting up your party if that doesn't work. If you can’t find a reservation for 5, try splitting into two smaller groups—one person books a table for two, and another for three. Look for times within 15-20 minutes of each other. Once you arrive, check in early and ask the Cast Members if they can seat you together. While it’s not guaranteed, in my experience, I have seen Disney Cast Members work Mushu-level magic and will do their best to accommodate.

    3. It’s always important to remember that plans change constantly, and guests cancel reservations frequently. So, please keep checking the My Disney Experience App, as availability might pop up closer to your visit.

Richard, while exploring EPCOT, don’t miss the Flower & Garden Festival. The topiaries are absolutely breathtaking, and the new Moana display at the entrance is stunning; it even lights up at night.

I hope this helps answer your question! If you have any more, please stop by and visit us again.

    See you real soon,
