Hi Alex!
Glad you cruised by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask about your Western Caribbean sail on the high seas this holiday SEAson. I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking about spending Thanksgiving with Captain Mickey aboard Disney Cruise Line!
With Cozumel and
Castaway Cay as your ports of call, your cruise is sure to be MAGICal! Disney's private island, Castaway Cay is my absolute favorite. When I want to escape reality, I imagine laying on the beach chair enjoying a “Konch Kooler” (THE signature drink on Castaway Cay) overlooking Castaway Family Beach. Happy place!
Here’s my mantra: any day traveling is a good day, especially when journeying to the Bahamas and Mexico. According to the Islands of the Bahamas website, the average November temperature in the Bahamas ranges anywhere from 71 degrees to 85 degrees and 77 to 79 degrees for water temperatures. Just last month, I sailed in the Caribbean, and it seemed every day was a delightfully balmy 80 degrees.
Good news! Even if Mother Nature is throwing a curveball on the weather, Disney Cruise Line pools are heated if the outside temperature dips below 75.
The
Very Merrytime Cruise is definitely on my bucket list. I can tell you that my friend Nancy has experienced this holiday sailing and simply raves about the seasonal decorations and activities like the
gingerbread cookie decorating! You don’t have to sign up in advance; simply check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or the Personal Navigator (paper newsletter) for the times and location.
Wishing you a Holly Jolly cruise and a Very Merrytime holiday!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
