Hi Courtney,
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow, those are two great choices for your upcoming vacation but I'm leaning towards one Disney Resort hotel for you, and here's why...
Our family believes time equals value. You'll need to evaluate which Disney Park you intend to visit most, and with the New Fantasyland opening, I'm guessing Magic Kingdom will entertain your three-year-old for hours on end, not to mention the mode of transportation to Magic Kingdom is an attraction in itself...Disney's Monorail!
I'm a huge fan of the Magic Kingdom Area Resort hotels for the ease of transportation both to and from Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Over the years with small children, we would often end our evenings at either of these Disney Parks for the sheer fact of rolling the stroller onto Disney's Monorail and simply lifting our sleepy little ones right into bed!
Staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort will allow you that luxury, and a happy toddler is a happy vacation!
Your family will only be a hop, skip and jump away from the most popular Advanced Dining Reservations with small children at Walt Disney World. Here are a few of our favorites, easily accessed by Monorail:
- Chef Mickey's, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort
- 'Ohana, located at Disney's Polynesian Resort
- 1900 Park Fare, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Spending less time on travel and more time on magic makes Disney's Contemporary Resort my choice for your family. Have a wonderful vacation, Courtney!
