Hi Sherri! Thanks for your CR input; took your advice & went w/ 7:05 ADRs 9/29. I think we'll be much happier for it :) Since you're my "travel guru", I have another Q for you: HS closes early on 10/2, but I can't find why. Any idea? Event?

    Hi Brooke,

I'm so glad we can help you out with planning and I think booking the later Coral Reef reservation will allow for more flexibility. Great choice!

You are likely correct in surmising a private event is the reason for an earlier Park closure at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you have Park Hoppers, this may be a good Park to visit earlier in the day since most guests will avoid it due to the early closing. Because you're staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. According to the Park calendar, Epcot offers Extra Magic Hours that evening, so an itinerary suggestion would be to "hop" from Disney's Hollywood Studios over to Epcot after 6:00 p.m if you do have Park Hopper tickets. Be sure to continue checking Park calendars as October approaches, since schedule changes are always possible.

Thanks again for the follow up question, Brooke. I'm happy to sprinkle any Pixie Dust I can on what's sure to be a magical vacation.
