Hi Courtney,
Welcome back and I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the planning aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation. Planning is half the fun! My husband and I have really appreciated the proximity of the
Never Land Club at Disney's Polynesian Resort to many of our favorite late night spots. We've simply dropped off our prince and princess and headed via monorail to Mizner's Lounge at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I'd recommend either Narcoosee's or Citricos for a signature dining experience. Nothing quite says romance like the deck surrounding Narcoosee's, where the view of Cinderella Castle across Seven Seas Lagoon will illuminate your night sky. It's a great spot!
I have not yet heard of an official Fall opening date for California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Another signature dining location, and quite arguably the best offerings on property, the California Grill is currently undergoing refurbishments. I'd keep an eye on the website or the Disney Food Blog for updates as the outstanding views and overall experience will certainly exceed your expectations.
Lastly, I'd consider the Tambu Lounge at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Enjoying a Lapu Lapu followed by a walk on the beach will conclude your evening with magic and romance. If you time it just right, perhaps wishes nighttime spectacular will provide the perfect backdrop to your romantic evening together.
Enjoy, Courtney!
