I am sharing my Disney experience plans with other members of my family. Will this prohibit or slow the process of joining a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance?

    Hi Dee!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am so happy to see that you are planning your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth and you are making good use of My Disney Experience.  Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened last year, just after my last visit, so I have yet to experience this amazing attraction.  I cannot wait!  Boarding Groups are still available, with requests to join the virtual queue available at 10am or 2pm every day, after you have entered Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Select “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue” on the home screen of My Disney Experience, and you will see the current status and next steps for joining the virtual queue.

My good friend and fellow panelist Jason recently enjoyed a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort and his best advice for securing your boarding pass is to remove everyone connected to your My Disney Experience account except for those you wish to add to the virtual queue, start refreshing the virtual queue screen on the app 30 seconds before either 10am or 2pm, and select 'All' when the option comes up.  Also, only have one member of your party login on the same account - choose whichever one of you has the fastest fingers to navigate quickly around the screens.

During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic, and Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go, and keep watching the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates.

Please come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
