If you share ticket info with friends family But not linked completely Can you get a virtual queue for yourself and friend Or do we each have to try to do it separately?

Hi there, Amy-welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you asked for some additional clarification about your upcoming trip. How exciting that you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just three days--so exciting!  As our family's primary Disney vacation planner, I appreciate you wanting to have all of your (Donald) ducks in a row to help things go as smoothly as possible!

As I understand it, your question is related to the tickets that your child's cheerleading squad have for their competition this weekend. Because the athletes set up their own My Disney Experience accounts, these accounts typically cannot be managed by their parents--however, they can be linked, which it appears that you may have already done. Let's check!

The easiest way to confirm that the profiles are connected is to look in the My Disney Experience app. From the home screen, select the three lines at lower right, then click "My Profile", followed by "Family & Friends List". Your child's profile may appear under "My Other Family & Friends", rather than "We're Planning Together", but as long as you are linked you should be good to go!

One important step that the athletes must complete to ensure they can be added to a Virtual Queue group that I didn't mention in my previous answer, Amy--they need to secure a Theme Park Reservation for the park they plan to visit on that date. While park reservations were recently eliminated for many categories of theme park tickets, the Varsity-issued tickets still have this requirement. I would recommend securing reservations sooner rather than later, as this event typically brings big crowds to Walt Disney World!

Amy, I hope this information is just what you need to have a magical (and hopefully celebratory!) adventure in the theme parks this weekend. If anything is unclear or you need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly. Thanks again for visiting planDisney--wishing your cheerleaders a safe and successful championship experience!

    Stay Magical!
