I would like to share planning on MDE with my daughter for all guests coming on our trip. Is that possible? As of now, she is only able to manage planning for herself and me after receiving an invitation from me. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi Earnestine, welcome to planDisney!

In just a few days you'll be able to say you're going to Walt Disney World Resort next month - can you believe it?! Have you heard the exciting news that TRON Lightcycle/Run opens in Magic Kingdom Park on April 4? I recommend familiarizing yourself with the process of entering the virtual queue in the My Disney Experience mobile app before arrival (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Virtual Queues). A standby queue for this attraction will not be available during your visit, but you can also experience this highly-anticipated thrill ride by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane.

My Disney Experience account is the place where a Guest's vacation entitlements (tickets, theme park reservations, dining reservations, Genie+ Lightning Lane reservations, etc) are housed. A Guest can either have their own My Disney Experience account or an account profile managed by another person's account. It sounds like there are members of your traveling party with My Disney Experience account profiles managed by your account, Earnestine. Those individuals appear with the words "Plans managed by me" on your Family & Friends List. I also understand you are connected with your daughter as Family & Friends and that you'd like her to be able to manage the plans for your entire party.

Only one person can officially manage the plans of another, though others can view and make plans for the individual with a My Disney Experience account profile as long as they are connected as Family & Friends. For example, I manage the account profiles for my children but my husband can view and make plans for them (make dining reservations, purchase Disney Genie+ service, view Disney PhotoPass images, etc) because they are connected as Family & Friends. There are just a few things I, as the managing adult, can do for my children that my husband cannot. Those things include managing my children's MagicBands and admission cards, downloading their Disney MagicMobile passes, and changing their profile pictures.

For your daughter to connect with everyone in your party as Family & Friends, first make sure that "My list is shared" appears next to your name on your Family & Friends List. Next, ask your daughter to click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of her Family & Friends List. The names of the rest of your party should automatically appear for selection because you are connected with all of the Guests in your party and your list is shared.

If you feel it's essential for your daughter to be the one that officially manages your Guests' My Disney Experience account profiles, Cast Member assistance is required to make this change. I recently had success completing this task using the chat feature on the Walt Disney World website. Live chat is available 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. EST. Be prepared to provide the email addresses for both your and your daughter's My Disney Experience accounts.

I hope I've covered all the helpful bases today, Earnestine. If not, please don't hesitate to follow up with me directly
