Can you share a meal on the dining plan and just purchase an extra drink? Can a senior or adult order off of the kids menu (table service, not buffet) using the dining plan. Can an adult or senior order off of the kids menu at Be Our Guest

    Hi Mary,

How exciting to know your vacation is just a few weeks away. Are you ready to start your magical time at Walt Disney World Resort?

My family loves the Disney Dining Plans. They are so convenient and we do not have to worry about budgeting for meals. We only need to worry about which restaurants to choose!

What happens when teenagers get a humongous cupcake an hour before dinner? Usually nothing, but on rare occasions they are not hungry. At some times, we would order an appetizer to share and pay for it out of pocket, while the rest would use the Disney Dining Plan.

I also remember when they were Disney Juniors (over ten years of age) and still picky eaters. Although they could not order from the kids menu anymore, the servers would help them with a bigger size portion of a kid's meal. Just talk to them when you are seated.

One last tip: is there a particular restaurant where you could not find a reservation? Keep checking! Many Guests change or cancel their plans at the last minute and something usually pops up. Use the My Disney Experience mobile app to help you. See you real soon!
