How do I share linked guests in my group’s account app with another person’s account app so we can make plans together for rides?

Hi there, Adrienne, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're getting ready for a fantastic visit to the Disneyland Resort this month! You've definitely identified the best sidekick for making the most of the magic: the Disneyland mobile app! Think of it as your best pal for all things Disneyland—it’s incredibly useful both before you arrive and especially while you're immersed in the park's magic!

Sharing plans, especially when coordinating ride times using services like Lightning Lane Multi Pass, is so much easier when everyone in your travel party is linked within the app. Let's walk through exactly how you can link the tickets or passes from the other members of your group to your account so you can make plans together.

First, open the Disneyland app and tap the menu button (three-lined icon) at the bottom right, followed by “My Tickets & Passes”. Here, you should see your own tickets that are already connected to your account. To add the others from your group, look for the blue plus (+) sign in the top right corner and give it a tap. Press the “Link Tickets & Passes” button, which will give you a few options to connect the other group’s tickets.

If you happen to be with the other group members in person, my favorite method is using the “Camera” tab. Simply tap the “Open Camera” button and use your phone's camera to scan the barcode found on each person's park ticket. You'll scan them one at a time until everyone is added. If the guests in the other group are using MagicBand+, you can also opt for the “Tap” tab instead. Select “Open Scanner to Link” and follow the on-screen prompts.

Lastly, there's the “Type ID” tab, which is a fantastic option if you want to get organized before meeting up at the resort. You’ll just need the unique ID numbers listed on the other group’s park tickets. Then, simply enter these ID numbers into the app and tap “Link Media”.

Once everyone's ticket or pass is successfully linked to your account, you'll be able to start making plans together. This is awesome for booking return times for your group with Lightning Lane Multi Pass, ensuring everyone can secure the same return window and experience favorite attractions side-by-side!

But linking tickets is just scratching the surface of the Disneyland app's capabilities, Adrienne! It truly is an awesome tool designed to enhance your visit and help you navigate your park days with ease. I highly recommend spending some time exploring the interactive park map feature. It provides current wait times for attractions across both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park—perfect for deciding whether to dash to Space Mountain or mosey on over to Pirates of the Caribbean! You can also tap the buttons above the map to easily locate restrooms, dining locations, shops, and even your favorite characters!

Now that you know how to link everyone's tickets and navigate the parks like a pro using the app's map features, Adrienne, you and your group are wonderfully prepared for a fantastic visit! Having your plans connected makes everything smoother, leaving more time for laughter and making those magical memories together. I hope these tips help sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your trip. Have an absolutely amazing time exploring all the magic the Disneyland Resort has to offer!
