Hey there, hi there, ho there, Katelin!
You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney. While there are many things in common between the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort, you have come across one of many differences that will make your experiences at the two resorts unique. Your visits to each resort will be unforgettable in their own special ways.
To share privileges related to a stay at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel with other Guests staying in the same room or suite, the primary hotel or
Vacation Package reservation holder may share their reservation confirmation number with the other Guests. Those Guests will enter that confirmation number in the “My Hotel Reservation” screen of the
Disneyland mobile app. Other information required to link the reservation includes the last name of the primary reservation holder and the arrival date for the reservation.
If you are experiencing any issues with access to any hotel amenities or benefits, please call or visit the hotel front desk. The Cast Members at the front desk will also be able to issue you a physical key card if needed. That is what I requested when I stayed at the
Disneyland Hotel a few months ago but not as the primary reservation holder.
Katelin, I’m so excited for you! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is going to be magical. If you haven’t been to
Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom or its neighboring park,
Disney California Adventure Park, and the surrounding resort area before, you are in for some amazing surprises. One thing that will probably surprise you the most is how walkable the entire resort area is. If you wish to enjoy an afternoon break in your hotel room or a refreshing drink at
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, you are only minutes away, even if you find yourself deep inside one of the parks.
Have a magical time!
