Laurie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How do I share my groups tickets and reservations so other members of my party can have it in their app and make dining reservations etc? Right now the tickets and park reservations are linked to just my app profile.

Hey there, Laurie! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question.

I wish I had better information to share with you on linking and sharing your plans with other Guests. Unfortunately, this is one of the areas where Disneyland and Walt Disney World are different. I wish we could link Disney accounts to our friends and family's accounts at Disneyland Resort. It sounds like what you have done is as close as it gets to that here.

It seems like you currently have all the tickets linked to your account. I'm also glad to hear you have the theme park ticket reservations secured as well. What you can do is share the ticket ID number for each Guest's ticket with them. They can then create a Disney account and link their ticket to their account. You can still keep them all on your account as well. When I go with a group I prefer that at least one person has all of the tickets on their account. This works out well especially if you are going to be utilizing Disney Genie+. It just makes it a lot easier for one person to make everyone's next Lightning Lane selection in one transaction rather than everyone trying to sync up return times individually.

As I mentioned, it's a good idea for every family to at least create their own account and link their tickets to it. This allows them to scan in and out of the park if you split up. This also means they can take advantage of one of my favorite features of the Disneyland app, mobile ordering. Now you can order that Dole Whip while you are hitting up Jungle Cruise and time it just right so you can skip that line and pick it up when you step off the boat.

Unfortunately, as far as reservations go, those cannot be linked between multiple accounts. The only account that can see and modify dining reservations is the Guest who books it on their account.

Laurie, I hope this helps you figure out what strategy is best for you and your party. I really hope that sooner or later Disneyland Resort will have the same features to link accounts as Walt Disney World does. Thanks again for stopping by!
